A couple of weeks ago we hosted a conversation club about beauty. The discussions were deep and eye opening. I wanted to share a few quotes from our students (all English Learners).
"Without beauty, the world would become repetitive."
"Without thoughts of beauty, our roads would be colorless."
"Beauty is something God has created, but it looks different in different things."
"Something is beautiful to the extent that it's useful."
"Beauty can be divided into two categories: real and virtual. God is real beauty (true beauty). Everything that God has created, including mankind, is virtual beauty because we are only a representation of the real thing."
Cool, huh?
